School Accountability

The issuance of any State of Texas Public School District's A-F rating is delayed due to pending rule verification/amendments (STAAR redesign year and changes in accountability). The delay is at the State level. All schools and students have access to their 2023 assessment scores. As soon as the district receives its 2023 rating, it will be made available. The Mustangs performed well on the new STAAR/EOC assessments.
The State of Texas is still working on district ratings for the 2022-2023 school year. Below is the MCISD rating for 2022. The overall District rating was an A: 93 out of 100. The rating is an indicator of how much students are learning and it shows how well an individual campus and or district prepares students for success after high school.
